NATIONAL HORSESHOE PITCHERS FOUNDATION
Building for the future while preserving the past and showcasing the present.
NHPF GRANTS
In August of 2002, the NHPF Directors approved the formation of modest program that would provide grants to assist in the construction of new or the upgrade of older horseshoe courts on public property. Currently, this program has a cap of six grants per year, none to exceed $1500.
There are two review periods each year, March and September. Applications must be received by the 1st day of either of these months to be included in that review period. No more than one-half of the annual grant allotment will be issued during March but should there be less, the difference will be added to September so as to allow up to the yearly maximum. Applicants will be notified of approval or rejection by the end of the review months.
Copies of the Grant Application Form can be downloaded here.
DONATIONS
The NHPF relies on donations to support all its ongoing responsibilities - from awarding grants, to maintaining the NHPA Hall of Fame Museum and inddor pitching facility in Wentzville, MO.
Two ways you can help are to make a monetary donation directly to the NHPF or to purchase a commemorative brick to be displayed in the courtyard at the HOF facility.
Two brick sizes are available. The vast majority will be 4” x 8” for a donation of $100 (or 3 for $250). A limited number will be 8” x 8” for a donation of $200.
The bricks make wonderful memorials for your horseshoe pitching loved ones or to commemorate state championships or other special occassions.
Visit the NHPF website to download the order form on the "Brochure" tab and make your brick purchase, today!
